At HWC, competition gives wrestlers an opportunity to test what they've learned, challenge themselves, and grow.
We’re proud to recognize wrestlers who have reached the IKWF State Championships and earned places on the podium. But we also know that every result starts long before a tournament—with practice, preparation, consistency, courage, and teammates helping each other get better.

MORE THAN A PODIUM
Not every meaningful result comes with a medal.
For some wrestlers, success is qualifying for State. For another, it's competing in their first tournament. Winning their first match. Wrestling through a difficult position instead of giving up. Becoming a better practice partner. Learning how to respond after a loss. Or simply developing enough confidence to step onto the mat.
We celebrate progress at every stage—while continuing to challenge our wrestlers to reach for more.
Some wrestlers who have come through the Huskie wrestling community have gone on to continue their academic and athletic careers at outstanding colleges and universities across the country.
